Toshin is a warehousing company founded in 1946. It owns and operates a warehouse near the heart of Tokyo that offers three ranges of temperatures; frozen, chilled and ambient. The company also operates approximately 40 room-temperature warehouses in the central inland of Kanagawa Prefecture; it develops its logistic business mainly in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. In addition to warehousing and cargo handling, the company has a long history of handling distributive processing, mainly of food; with a wide array of human resources with rich knowledge of warehouse operation and temperature management, it provides one-stop, comprehensive logistic services that cover everything from storage/temperature management to processing and transportation/delivery arrangements.
We develop logistics facilities tailored to area characteristics such as locations, sizes, and specifications, based on the expertise of low-temperature logistics and regional logistics Toshin has accumulated for decades since its foundation and the needs of the shippers and logistics providers.
Our strength combining both real estate and logistics expertise
We analyze the detailed needs of the shipper’s preferred area, the category and type of packaging, time/duration, and quantity, the carrier’s preferred route and timeframe, and other warehousing companies’ needs in re-storage and relocation. By figuring out the facility user’s needs and the specifications and size matching the area characteristics, we provide all-inclusive arrangements for logistics facilities development from planning to construction and leasing.

We build our plans based on our wealth of experience in real estate development, taking into consideration the suitable specifications and size to develop a logistics facility in terms of profitability, as well as other points of view such as designing and construction schedules, construction fees, and permission and authorization for the development.
