In today’s world, where the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions is a globally important agenda, we have been working on solar power generation since 2013, aiming to contribute to reducing environmental burdens through the supply of natural energy. Developing a solar power station takes not only electric facilities but also a wide range of expertise and knowledge in real estate and civil engineering, negotiations with ministries and agencies in concern, etc. We utilized our fostered ability in development promotion; as for Iwaki Solar Farm in Fukushima Prefecture and Misumi Solar Farm in Kumamoto Prefecture, we got involved from the final development phase to bring various real estate and civil engineering issues to solutions, followed by the launch of our own supply business. As for Chitose Solar Farm, the development has been done entirely by our company, starting generating electricity in 2016. In addition, in 2023, all 18 small wind power stations we developed in four regions in Hokkaido have launched operations. This makes the annual amount of electricity generated by the renewable energy plants our company group owns approximately 8.6 million kilowatts, which surpasses the amount of electricity we use on business at all offices and the properties our group owns.
To link such an environmental value to business activities, we joined the “RE Action–Declaring 100% Renewable” initiative in 2023. All our renewable energy power plants generate FIT energy; we aim to introduce non-fossilized value with tracking to cover 100% of the electricity we use in our operations in the future.
Our business restricts environmental burdens from an SDGs standpoint as well.

A solar-power station of about 52,893 square meters/13 acres in size, reutilizing a part of the former golf course site.
A solar-power station of about 49,587 square meters/12.25 acres in size, reutilizing a part of the former runway site.
We have built a total of 18 wind power plants in various places in Hokkaido. Upon development, we selected areas suitable for wind power generation, i.e., areas with strong wind.
On November 13, 2023, we joined the “RE Action” initiative (https://saiene.jp/). In the future, we plan to introduce non-fossilized certification by tracking and linking the non-fossilized value of the electricity generated at the FIT power plants our company group develops and owns, to electricity for business use. In this way, it enables us to make the electricity necessary for business practically carbon dioxide-free. Also, as a real estate developer, we will continue to do business that reduces environmental burdens by developing environmentally-focused properties and promoting renewable energy as the main power source of the common areas of our property.
