Sun Street

A partial renewal project to improve the real estate value of an old building and contribute to the streetscape of the shopping street, which involved a renovation of the exterior and the communal areas of an old building.

The premises face the shopping street on the west side street just outside Ichikawa train station and a national road. The building was completed in 1971 as a storefront/apartment complex.

In this project, we renovated the foot and the communal areas of a building close to 50 years old with facilities getting older. In addition to the repair work, we also used our ingenuity in design quality and functional aspects of the building, which led to the improvement in its real estate value.

The project included the creation of the face of the building, in conjunction with the arrangement of the rearrangements of advertisements posted at the exterior, improving the impression of the communal areas at a low cost through painting, lighting, and signage design, the improvement of functional convenience by renovating the toilet from Japanese to Western style, the exterior design, and the outdoor facility development of the foot of the building to catch the users’ eyes. The renewal project improved the look of the building as a counterpart of the street and contributed to the improvement in street prices. It also contributes to the bustle of the shopping street as well as the improvement in street prices.
